As part of this European project, we have developed an Excel tool designed to perform Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for buildings. This tool has been specifically designed to facilitate the calculation of these impacts in construction projects, focusing on making more sustainable decisions.
To support the use of this tool, we have created a tutorial that serves as a step-by-step guide, explaining how to input data, interpret results, and use the information to improve the sustainable design of buildings.
At the end of the tutorial, two practical exercises are included, allowing users to compare the environmental impact results of several proposed alternatives for the construction of a single-family home. These exercises are designed to reinforce the concepts learned and apply the tool in real-life scenarios.
